Where We Work

Esperanza works in the Dominican Republic, which is located on the eastern side of the Isle of Hispaniola. The D.R. shares this island with bordering Haiti. Hispaniola is located east of Cuba, west of Puerto Rico, and south of Florida. Esperanza operates in dozens of rural and semi-rural communities throughout the eastern regions of the Dominican Republic.

Our branch offices are located in Puerto Plata, Samana, Hato Mayor, El Seibo, Ingenio Consuelo, San Pedro de Macoris, and Santo Domingo, which is also our central office. We also have new program in Tru Du Nord, Haiti and programs for people living with HIV/AIDS in Dajabon and Santo Domingo.
